Modularity

As a part of longer collaboration, I worked on capturing a design by Magdalena Weigel. Her concept behind the design is all about multi-optional garment with provocative structural embellishments, which questions the necessity of social construction of gender and its norms.

 

In Magdalena’s words: 'This contrast is an internal reflection of those who engage with it, feeling both male and female as well as neither, not changing because of society, embracing fear and discomfort, and acting as an example by carrying the negativity to the outside, making people aware and confronting them.’

I was able to explore film photography its roughness and honesty, when trying to capture the true essence of the story.
